Fenix LD32 UVC integrates a UVC surface-disinfecting light into a flashlight body: after unscrewing the protective cap, press both side switches at the same time to activate UVC. For UVC use, it’s recommended to scan surfaces at a close range of about 2cm (under 1 inch). The original description also states it can be used to eliminate up to 99% of bacteria and germs.
For white-light illumination, it delivers up to 1200 lumens with a max beam distance of 170m (558ft). It also includes battery level indication, lockout, and overheat protection—well-suited for everyday carry and all-weather preparedness.

White-light level cycle: With the light on, single-click to cycle Low→Med→High→Turbo
Strobe: With the light on, press and hold for 1.2s; single-click to return to the previous level
Instant Strobe from off: With the light off, press and hold for 1.2s; single-click to exit
Lock/unlock: With the light off, double-click within 0.5s (Lock: Low flashes twice; Unlock: starts on Low)
UVC activation: Light off → unscrew cap → aim from ~2cm → press both side switches (up to 30s)
Battery check: With the light off, single-click for a 3-second battery display (only for Fenix ARB-L18 series 18650)

FAQ
How close should I keep the UVC disinfection distance?
It’s recommended to scan surfaces from under 1 inch; the operation section also mentions about 2cm. Since UVC intensity decreases with distance, avoid holding it too far from the surface. For larger areas, treat the surface in sections.
Why does the UVC turn off automatically?
Each UVC cycle runs for up to 30 seconds. It turns off when the 30-second timer ends or if either UV side switch is released. To use again, release and press both side switches simultaneously to restart.
UVC is on but I can’t see any light—Is that normal?
Yes. UVC is not visible to the human eye, so a blue indicator light turns on during UVC operation to indicate the effective disinfection range.
Do battery indication and low-voltage warning work with all batteries?
Notes in the related section state that the battery level display and low-voltage warning/automatic step-down logic apply only to Fenix ARB-L18 series 18650 rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

- UVC safety: UVC is hazardous to human and animal cells. Never shine it into eyes or on skin/animals, and keep it out of children’s reach.
- Distance: UVC intensity decreases with distance; avoid holding it too far from the surface. For large areas, treat in sections.
- Protective cap: After unscrewing, you can thread the cap onto the tail to avoid losing it. Reinstall the cap after use to maintain protection and prevent accidental UVC activation.
- White-light safety: High-intensity beams may cause eye injury—avoid shining directly into others’ eyes.
