Fenix FD41 Focus is built around adjustable/zoomable lighting: rotate the focusing head to smoothly transition between Spotlight (throw) and Floodlight (wide-area) beams. It stays at your selected focus position without extra locking.
It offers 4 brightness levels, Strobe, and zoom focusing, using a tactical tail switch + function side switch layout: the tail switch handles momentary and constant-on activation, while the side switch controls output selection and Strobe. Designed for tactical and outdoor use, it lets you match beam shape and operating rhythm to the environment.

Quick Operation Guide
Momentary: Half-press the tail switch; release to turn off
Constant On / Off: Full-press the tail switch to turn on; press again to turn off
Brightness Cycling: With the light on, consecutive single-clicks on the side switch cycle Turbo→Low→Med→High
Strobe: With the light on, press and hold the side switch for 0.5s; single-click to return to the previous general level
Focusing: Rotate the focusing ring to switch between spot and flood (factory default: full flood)
Battery Replacement: Unscrew tailcap, insert battery with the positive (+) toward the head, then screw the tailcap back on

Why does Turbo step down automatically?
The FD41 has “dual protection”:
1) Time-based control: after 5 minutes of continuous Turbo, it steps down from Turbo to High.
2) Thermal control: during extended Turbo use, if temperature reaches 55°C or above, it automatically reduces output to cool down; once temperature drops, output gradually recovers.

What happens when the battery voltage is low?
When voltage drops below the preset value, the flashlight will gradually step down to lower levels until Low. In Low, it will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to recharge or replace the battery, and will keep running until over-discharge protection stops the battery from working.
Which batteries are supported?
It can run on one 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery (included) or 2 × CR123A batteries.

- Avoid shining the beam directly into anyone’s eyes (high-intensity light may cause eye injury).
- Do not disassemble sealed components, as it may cause damage and void warranty coverage.
- If unused for long periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage or rupture-related damage.
- Extended Turbo use or hot/poor-ventilation conditions may trigger overheat protection or cause beam instability. Reduce output to cool down for stable operation.
- O-rings wear over time; use the included spare O-ring to maintain water sealing.
- If flickering, intermittent output, or failure to light occurs, try replacing the battery and confirming correct orientation, or clean threads/contacts (e.g., with an alcohol swab).
